The Stonery is an Australian business, with most orders currently packed and shipped from our studio in Bali, Indonesia. Every parcel is prepared with care, sent with tracking, and handled through the most reliable shipping options available to us.
All orders are shipped with tracking so you can follow your parcel once dispatched.
For many international orders, express courier shipping is now the safest and most reliable option.
Australian orders may be sent by tracked ePacket or express service, depending on the order and current availability.
Due to the current state of international shipping, trade changes, customs systems, and service availability from Indonesia, we can no longer offer free tracked shipping as a standard option.
We are working with DHL and other trusted shipping services to keep postage as low as possible while still prioritising reliability, tracking, and safe delivery.
This means shipping may cost more than before, but it also gives your order a stronger tracking pathway and a more secure delivery process, especially for international parcels.
Orders within Australia may still be shipped using tracked ePacket or express service, depending on the order value, destination, service availability, and current postal conditions.
Tracking will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
For the United States, most European countries, and many other international destinations, standard parcel options are currently limited or unavailable from our location.
Where standard service is not suitable or available, orders will be sent by express courier, usually through DHL or another premium tracked service.
We aim to dispatch ready-to-ship orders within 1 to 3 business days after order placement, unless the item is custom made, resized, altered, or otherwise arranged with you before purchase.
Custom orders, resizing, gold plating, made-to-order pieces, and special requests may require additional preparation time.
Where possible, we continue to use compostable, reusable, or lower-impact packing materials.
International shipping services can change depending on the destination country, customs systems, courier requirements, and current postal availability.
If we are unable to ship to your country or if a better shipping option is required, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Once your order has been dispatched and valid tracking has been provided, it is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking and respond to any delivery, customs, duty, tax, address confirmation, or collection request from the courier or postal service.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, courier handling fees, or clearance charges required by their country.
If tracking shows that delivery was attempted, that the parcel was awaiting collection, or that action was required from the customer, The Stonery is not responsible for delays, return, disposal, destruction, or failed delivery caused by the required action not being completed in time.
The Stonery is not responsible for orders dispatched to incorrect addresses entered at checkout. Please make sure your billing and shipping details are accurate before completing your order.
If a parcel is declared missing or delayed by the shipping provider, please contact us and we will help investigate where possible.
If an error has occurred on our end, we will take responsibility and work with you on a fair solution.
Once your order is on its way, we will email you a tracking number. Please follow the tracking updates and contact your local courier or postal service quickly if they request action.
If you would like additional insurance or special delivery handling for your parcel, please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order so we can check available options.
